We're glad that you have come to visit, and we hope
that you'll join us again either in person or here on our web site.
As Lutherans, we believe in the Triune God: Father,
Son and Holy Spirit. We believe that the Bible is God's inspired,
inerrant Word, and that God has given us the Sacraments (Baptism and the Lord's
Supper) together with His Word (The Holy Bible) as the means of grace. We believe that the heart of Christianity is a
personal relationship between God and man, initiated and sustained by God
through these means of grace. We believe that being a Christian involves more
than being in Church on Sunday. We believe that it is a way of life, including
individual, family and community responsibilities. If you are looking for a
church that takes God at His Word; a church filled with forgiven sinners; a
church that seeks to share God's love as best it can; you have come to the
Divine Sunday Service at St. Matthew's at 9:30 A.M. CDT (in person approx 68 in the sanctuary. The service will be continue to be live-streamed) Pre-registration is requested for all attending in-person. With the new health orders effective August 28, 2021 the use of non-medical masks will again be required by all attending in person.
Divine Service at Grace at 10:30 A.M. CST As of September 17 the use of non-medical mask is mandated in indoor public places - including churches. Please continue to respect others' desire for physically distancing. No pre-registration is required, but we will use an attendance sheet based on previous attendance. ---- Divine Service for Pentecost 17 (Sept 19) is now posted on Facebook and Youtube (a link is also on the Sunday Bulletins tab). ----- Private Confession/Absolution, prayer, and Communion will continue by appointment.
